About Vichar Sanstha

Vichar Sanstha is an NGO working for the overall development of the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. With our network of 5000+ active volunteers, Vichar Sanstha works on the ground every day and especially, in times of crisis. Our aim is to empower lives in rural as well as urban areas through 360-degree development across health, education, employment, healthcare, and sanitation. Vichar Sanstha is working with 500 women from Self Help Groups (SHGs), in the Bundelkhand region, who are on a transformational journey. They are in the contributing process of manufacturing 5,00,000 diyas and Lord Ganesha idols for Diwali. These diyas and idols are manure-based and completely eco-friendly. Through this environmentally sustainable initiative, these women hope to make a living for themselves and it is an important step for them in becoming financially independent.
