SIMATS – ZYROFEST
About
ZYROFEST 2026 is a technical college fest hosted by SIMATS Engineering, Chennai (Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences). It is a hands-on competitive platform designed to challenge students in areas such as cybersecurity, product design, and emerging technologies.
The ZeroFest festival brings together problem-solving and innovation through structured competitions, typically held in June. Participation is limited to 100 slots per event to ensure focused engagement. Popular competitions at Zyrofest include Capture The Flag (CTF), UI/UX Design Competition, and Technical Quiz.
The ‘CTF Challenge’ features web exploitation, cryptography, digital forensics, reverse engineering, and OSINT puzzles. Further, the ‘UI/UX Design Competition’ involves live Figma-based design tasks across two rounds, including information architecture and high-fidelity interface construction. The ‘Technical Quiz’ evaluates participants in a structured format comprising screening, rapid-fire rounds, technical problem-solving, and an individual final round.
Students can register for Zerofest online to secure participation early, as most events have limited seating and high demand.
