Key responsibilities:

1. Optimize the API/backend for high performance and scalability & make changes in a backward-compatible manner
2. Take the lead to maintain & refactor code and remedy performance bottlenecks
3. Work on the implementation of security and data protection
4. Deploy and maintain the applications on the server
5. Generate unit tests and proper documentation for the services developed. Seek to automate testing
