At Acropolis, people's operations (HR) Generalist is focused on understanding what people need and knowing how to provide it. We re in search of a qualified and resourceful HR generalist to take over our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, such as recruitment/staffing, training & development, and compensation & benefits.
Key responsibilities:
1. Take care of employer branding in anything and everything that you do
2. Understand the company's approach, vision, mission & current situation and be aligned with the same
3. Conduct detailed research about required vacancies/openings, collaborate with colleagues to understand skills/competencies required, and draft evoking JDs that can act as a statement of branding in itself, attracting the befitting teammates
4. Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants - conduct background checks and employment eligibility verifications before onboarding (also, taking care of exit interviews, full & final settlements, etc.)
5. Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
6. Organize periodic employee performance reviews and monitor gaps in day-to-day operations, design/establish processes, generalize & optimize the fruitful processes
7. Shape up the people's operations department, including shaping up salary structure, company culture, policies, etc.
8. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs - gather & analyze data with useful HR metrics
9. Maintain employee files & records in efficient formats
10. Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying for new perks & benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
11. Set up appropriate committees for addressing complex and/or sensitive matters
12. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
13. Maintain compliances, employment laws & regulations, and recommended best practices; develop policies and practices to maintain compliance
14. Keep up with best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
15. Assist the CEO in day-to-day tasks & perform other duties as assigned
