About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Identify sources of information (secondary and primary sources)
2. Extract information/content extraction through the sources of information
3. Understand the commodity under research (the production process and other generic technical details of the commodity)
4. Identify various drivers of the commodity under research - cost/demand/price drivers
5. Determine the economic behavior of the supply/demand/price of the commodity
6. Identify experts for the commodity and key extraction of information
7. Work on competitive analysis of major suppliers of the commodity
8. Work on industry analysis
9. Use various strategic frameworks to determine competitive positioning
10. Manage forecasts - industry trends and more
11. Work on impact determination - macroeconomics/logistics/supply
12. Work on chain/disruptions/legislation/taxes on the supply and price of the commodity
13. Provide inputs towards price forecasts - (quantitative information/factors to support the price forecast of the commodity)

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 90%

2. Variable component: 10%
