The product design engineer has to build component designs for manufacturing and coordinate with the design and engineering team. The applicant will be working in Mumbai, and ensure that the end product meets the business goals as well as user needs. There will be a steep learning curve for this role which will boost personal and professional development
Key responsibilities:
1. Update existing designs and create new ones for static lamps and robots
2. Work on structural analysis of robot chassis
3. Work on dynamic analysis of robot (includes load distribution, battery life, etc.)
4. Engage with suppliers and manufacturers regarding mass manufacturing and rapid prototyping
5. Work on the testing of prototypes (UVC intensity test)
6. Handle demonstrations for potential customers
Skills required include CAD (Solidworks, Catia, or Autodesk), MATLAB, ANSYS, SimScale, industrial sketching, design, and engineering drawings
Educational background includes bachelors or masters in product design, design engineering, mechanical engineering, or material science
Annual CTC: ₹ 4,00,000 /year
