The 4th sustainable development goal talks about inclusive and equitable education for all. India is home to 18 million deaf people and 98% of deaf youngsters do not pass 12th grade. The problem stems from poor accessibility in the education sector, right from untrained teachers to the unavailability of accessible content/study material in the Indian sign language.
