Key responsibilities:

1. Implement the right techniques, such as anchor text distribution and link velocity & build a database of blogger and journalist relationships that we can work with on an ongoing basis
2. Continually discover new ways of outreach & stay revolutionary and avant-garde in the methods
3. Manage the outreach budget on a monthly basis
4. Manage agencies and projects that assist us in executing our link building strategy
5. Own and manage the disavow process and anchor text distribution
6. Work with the internal content team to ensure any required content is adequate, timely, and topical
7. Maintain strong communication between internal departments and project
8. Report back on strategy progress and targets

Should have SEO experience, either in-house or agency side

Should be a link strategist at heart with good knowledge of link building techniques, algorithmic penalties, and manual penalties

Understanding of several link building methods

Proven track record of link building/outreach for organic search

Ability to construct and manage employees workloads to deliver targets

Should be an advanced user of link monitoring tools and software

Advanced understanding of all major social networks

A good understanding of Google Analytics

Excellent communication skills

This role calls for an experienced link strategist with proven experience to create and drive off-page SEO strategies to acquire backlinks that positively impact organic rankings. The focus of this role is to ensure that at any given time, we have the correct link-building strategy and adapt on the fly based on SERP observations. The role requires not just building links but to analyze backlink profiles of Typeset.
