The area: Go-To-Market
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The role: Go-To-Market Intern
In this role, you will have the responsibility of developing a robust plan on core strategic priorities covering one or a combination of the startup/VC ecosystem, video growth, and/or disruptive sales processes. You will collaborate with the local, regional and global GTM teams, Google’s sales teams and other cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategy/plan/solution using robust data and appropriate analysis
- Create an implementation plan that is relevant and deliverable, with key milestones
- Be a self-starter and team player. Be collaborative, curious and open-minded
Minimum qualifications:
- Be currently enrolled in an MBA graduate program, with an anticipated graduation date in 2019
- Experience in Sales Operations, Strategy, Marketing or Consulting
- 2-5 years of prior work experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Analytical expertise, comfortable working with large datasets
- Strategic problem solving ability
- Held a leadership role at university and/or external associations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of departments and across countries, with global and regional teams
- Proficiency in English language
