The area: Global Campaign Services
gTech Professional Services (gPS) team is a solution-generating force that helps our sales teams, advertisers and publishers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. We work with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services to improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users. As a cross-functional and global team, it's our job to help keep the lights on and the ads fresh. The gPS Campaign Services team provides scaled expertise across all Google ads products. Outsourcing and automation are core to achieving scale for 40+ workflows that the team handles. These are backed by robust quality systems and data insights to drive strong business results. Being a global team, both internal and external stakeholder management and cross team collaboration are crucial to the team’s success.
The role: gPS Campaign Services Intern
As an intern, you will be part of a global project with one or more of the following objectives: identify strategic drivers to drive 10X improvements in process excellence tracing the customer journey and prioritizing opportunities to streamline/standardise operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong stakeholder engagement: Drive impactful conversations with multiple audiences at all levels across Campaign Services team
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes to address business needs through end-to-end gap analysis, VA/NVA analysis for select workflows
  • Maintain deep understanding of operational data and customer experience metrics to measure the success of a team or project
  • Extract data to formulate interesting insights at customer/portfolio level
  • Continuously communicate risks and challenges to business stakeholders and present recommended solutions
Minimum qualifications:
  • Be currently enrolled in an MBA graduate program, with an anticipated graduation date in 2019
  • 1-3+ years of experience in working with digital marketing, business process or a customer experience team
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and experience analyzing large sets of data to identify complex problems and implement creative, data driven solutions
Preferred qualifications:
  • Six Sigma knowledge will be a plus
  • An understanding of customer needs and working with data to identify trends and then develop solution
  • Knowledge of SQL and other data mining techniques will be a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team development, as well as excellent creative written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen interest in search and online advertising and the ability to drive customer satisfaction through direct and/or scalable sales and support initiatives
