The role: New Business Consultant Intern
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. As an intern you will work on strategies to grow the potential of clients by ways of educating and inspiring them. You will also work on projects to identify new business verticals with potential and how to approach them at scale. You will add value to some of our our existing acquisition strategies by working on innovative ways to further streamline the approach. Your work will influence the longer-term success of our business, looking at both our internal team as well as external clients.

As an intern you work within a diverse team on challenging projects with high impact during a 8-12 week internship. You will be assigned an intern manager who will help identify project goals, inspire, mentor you and support your professional development.
Responsibilities:
  • Bring strategic insight to the New Business Sales team
  • Develop solutions using vertical data and appropriate analysis
  • Create an implementation plan that is relevant and deliverable
  • Be a self-starter and team player. Be collaborative, curious and open-minded
Minimum qualifications:
  • Be currently enrolled in an MBA graduate program, with an anticipated graduation date in 2019
  • Experience in Sales, Business Development or Acquisitions
  • 1-3 years of prior work experience
Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative business strategies
  • Held a leadership role at university and/or external associations
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with a wide variety of departments
  • Ability to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
  • Strong interest in the Internet and in Google’s products and business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
