The area: Online Partnerships Group (OPG)
The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense and DoubleClick tools, to help online publishers grow their businesses. Our team is made up of passionate specialists who work with partners in online advertising and e-commerce. We thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented and international environments. On this team, you will identify, develop, and support new and existing partners. In OPG, we strive to exceed the expectations of our partners through building and maintaining long-term relationships.
The role: Online Partnerships Group Intern
As an intern, you will work on important strategy projects that will impact the mobile, web and Internet ecosystem. Your work will influence the longer-term success of our business in these areas. As an intern you work within a diverse team on challenging projects with high impact during a 8-12 week, full-time paid internship. You will be assigned an intern manager who will help identify project goals, inspire, mentor you and support your professional development.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with your host in observing and taking part in a wide variety of people and project management activities
  • Execute special projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services
Minimum qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing an MBA degree, with an anticipated graduation date in 2019
  • 3 years of experience in a strategy related role
  • Experience in sales, business development, consulting or account management
Preferred qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-started and independent thinker
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a challenging environment
  • Strong interest in the Internet and Google’s technology and business
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
