The area: Programmatic Account Strategy
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The Google Technical Services Ads Programmatic Account Strategy team works closely with in-market sales teams and/or regional Account Strategy teams to collaboratively shape platforms solutions that drive an advertiser’s strategic initiatives and help Google’s major advertising clients and agencies develop digital solutions that build their businesses and brands.
The role: Programmatic Account Strategy Intern
You may partner closely with the Platforms Sales teams, regional Programmatic Account Strategy teams and other cross-functional teams to develop deep product knowledge of our products, and leverage these skills to provide solutions for key issues/ opportunities within the business.

As an intern, you work within a diverse team on challenging projects with high impact during a 8-12 week full-time paid internship. You will be assigned an intern manager who will help identify project goals, inspire, mentor you and support your professional development.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with your host in observing and taking part in a wide variety of project management activities
  • Execute special projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development
  • Develop and implement best practices for services
Minimum qualifications:
  • Be currently enrolled in an MBA graduate program, with an anticipated graduation date in 2019
  • Experience in project management techniques and methodologies
  • 2-3+ years of prior work experience
Preferred qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to take on highly strategic and challenging business problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-started and independent thinker
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a challenging environment
  • Strong interest in the Internet and Google’s technology and businesses, knowledge of online advertising industry
