About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Support the integration of 3D models, assets, and environments into live-action sequences, working alongside the art and visual effects departments.
2. Collaborate with the Director, VFX team, and other departments to ensure the 3D elements align with the creative vision of the project.
3. Assist in coordinating the use of 3D tools for pre-visualization (previs), helping to visualize complex shots before they are filmed.
4. Help create 3D reference assets for use in blocking scenes and establishing shot composition.
5. Assist in organizing 3D props, sets, and backgrounds for scenes that require digital elements.
6. Help manage digital shot lists, ensuring 3D and live-action elements are properly integrated into the production pipeline.
7. Provide support to the team by troubleshooting technical issues related to 3D tools, equipment, or workflows on set.
8. Contribute to the post-production process by assisting with organizing 3D assets, supervising VFX workflows, and making sure assets are available for compositing.

Other requirements

1. Familiarity with 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D is required.

2. Knowledge of film or documentary production, with a focus on Assistant Director responsibilities.

3. Some experience with 3D modeling, texturing, or rendering is a plus.

4. Interest in understanding how 3D elements are integrated with live-action footage and VFX.

5. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to keep track of multiple tasks and priorities.

6. Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, including VFX, art, and camera teams.

7. A passion for visual storytelling, filmmaking, and integrating technology into the creative process.

8. Familiarity with production software such as Shotgun, Movie Magic Scheduling, or similar tools is a plus.
