About Rural Entrepreneurship And Livelihood Foundation (REAL)
Design is a powerful tool for social change. It exercises the power to include or exclude beneficiaries. Beneficiary diversity includes variations in the capabilities, needs & aspirations. The rural diaspora has been unfortunately bereft of the power of inclusive design. This is evident from the low rates of technology, appropriate products, services adoption, and avenues for opportunities (ex: entrepreneurship) among the rural population.
At Real Foundation, we focus on designing simple & engaging habits to improve individual decision making, keeping individual wellbeing at the center of our processes. Our target beneficiary is the resource-constrained rural communities. We aim to create a platform that enables informed decision-making by curating opportunities & services in technology access & entrepreneurship. It is our ardent belief that by providing resources & assisting them in well-being-focused habit formation, our beneficiaries will have an improved quality of life.
