Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing existing peer-reviewed scholarship in the overlapping areas of climate science and health to examine: what are the key climate change impacts and risks for health (mapping the landscape of the literature); what are the different solutions around health systems under a changing climate (mapping the literature and stakeholder landscape in India).
Requirements:
1. Must have a bachelors/masters in public health, developmental studies, public policy, geography, or similar disciplines
2. Good communication and analytical skills (must)
3. Proficiency in written English (added advantage)
4. Skilled in MS Excel and Reference Manager/Mendeley
Note: The internship will be based in Bengaluru and will not be remote.
Additional information:
The School of Human Development (SHD) and the School of Environment and Sustainability (SES) at IIHS are collaboratively working on a scoping literature review on the intersections of climate and health to understand the actors and practices and perspectives in the global south (focusing on the Indian context).
