1. Organizing, analyzing, and tracking various projects across the accounting, finance, and tax functions of the company
2. Maintaining office accounts and budgets in Excel and QuickBooks and preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
3. Summarizing current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other accounting and finance reports
4. Maintaining accounting and budgeting, auditing, tax, payroll, and payment processing functions of the company and preparing systems, policies, and procedures for the same
5. Working on the reconciliation and auditing of accounts
6. Answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
7. Complying with federal, state, and local taxation, financial and legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions, both in India and the US
8. Preparing and filing the company's annual tax returns and other taxes
9. Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting and financial information and maintaining extensive Excel databases of the market and relevant industry players
10. Coordinating efficiently with various creative, legal, and business executives and external stakeholders

About Continuum Media
Continuum Media is a global film, long-form TV/digital, and theatre content creator and producer. Apart from our specialized media, entertainment, and business advisory/consulting services practice, we have our own slate of motion picture, long-form TV/digital, and broadway projects in development currently, the first feature being a CIA true-life story based on a Pulitzer prize-winning journalist's novel and other epic TV/digital projects.
