Admission Counselor Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, or in person
2. Provide detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, deadlines, and financial aid options
3. Assist in the scheduling and coordination of campus tours and informational sessions
4. Guide prospective students through the application process and answer questions related to documentation, eligibility, and deadlines
5. Assist in reviewing student applications, including transcripts, test scores, and other supporting documents
6. Help manage the flow of applications, ensuring that all materials are complete and up to date
7. Input and maintain data into the admissions database with accuracy
8. Participate in the planning and organization of recruitment events, college fairs, and outreach initiatives
9. Help with the development and distribution of promotional materials for events and programs
10. Support virtual or in-person recruitment activities, including webinars and open houses
11. Maintain communication with applicants to ensure they stay informed about the progress of their application
12. Send out acceptance letters, rejection letters, and other admission-related correspondence as directed
13. Assist in preparing orientation or transition materials for new students
14. Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and organizing student records
15. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission policies, deadlines, and program offerings
16. Collaborate with the admissions team on various projects and initiatives as needed
