1. Using your agriculture knowledge to help shape the post-monsoon market launch of our product
2. Conducting research and analysis to create a database around the expected return on investment for farmers cultivating different types of crops using the Khethworks pump
3. Taking into account different factors such as crop water requirements, climatic conditions, geographies, soil types, market linkages, input costs, and irrigation methods, amongst other factors
4. Providing input to help shape Khethworks strategy with regards to identifying which types of farmers to target during the product launch and how to speak to farmers about the return on investment of the Khethworks solar pump
5. Working directly with the top level people of Khethworks, engaging with livelihoods organizations, government agencies & agricultural companies
6. Getting first-hand experience working in a startup environment
7. Working critically in bringing the first Khethworks irrigation product to market
8. Working closely with the CEO & the head of product management on shaping the strategy around the product launch
9. Conduct research, producing documented analysis, and reasoning to present to the CEO & head of product management as strategic input for decision making
10. Working in a fast-paced, agile and resource-limited startup environment

At Khethworks, our mission is to enable smallholder farmers to grow more, earn more and provide more for their families and communities. We make efficient and portable solar-powered irrigation systems that enable our customers to farm year-round. Khethworks was founded in 2015 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States, where we developed the underlying technology. Based in India since January 2016, we are currently a small but hardworking team of 5 with our headquarters in Pune. We are backed by Social Alpha, an initiative of the Tata Trusts, and by Sangam Ventures; Khethworks has won grants from UNIDO & MIT's Delta V, has been featured in publications such as Wired, Ogunte - For Impact Women & MIT Technology Review magazine, and was a finalist for the Design Impact Awards and ISHOW India.
