At Teach For India, we believe the problem of educational inequity is vast and complex, thus it is essential for us to understand the overall ecosystem. We design our organization in a way to address these issues as well as monitor the impact that we are creating. The strategy & learning team's agenda is to enable Teach For India to deliver on its goals effectively in phase 3 by ensuring purposeful and tight strategy execution and learning. This requires a range of efforts aimed at supporting teams by designing strategy, creating goals and metrics, learning from our journey over the last seven years, designing, monitoring, & learning frameworks towards efficient, accurate, informed, and timely decision-making by TFI's leadership team and individual staff. As a part of the commitment to donors and our collective mission, the team also supports ongoing studies of impact, reach, and effectiveness among key stakeholders including principals, fellows, and students.
About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Alumni Portfolio:

1. Leading research on the best and most effective ways of tracking student Alumni
2. Leading research on the support required by our student and other alumni
3. Designing effective and efficient structures to provide required support to our student and other alumni
4. Supporting the manager in co-designing and executing initiatives that will help in building a collective movement of our alumni

Communications:

1. Collecting and presenting the stories of Fellows in classrooms and alumni members from across the city
2. Designing a newsletter for external stakeholders
3. Creating reports of alumni impact updates

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

1. Excellent research and communication skills
2. Excellent time and project management skills
3. Excellent relationship building and networking skills
4. Proficiency in MS Office Applications
5. Proficiency in general research tools

  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. can start the internship between 10th Jan'19 and 9th Feb'19
  3. are available for duration of 2 months
  4. have relevant skills and interests
