About the internship
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices for software development.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
Stay up to date with new mobile technology trends, frameworks, and libraries.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android components, and lifecycle.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Dagger).
Proficient in writing unit and UI tests to ensure application stability.
Experience with MVVM architecture and design patterns.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Knowledge of mobile app deployment through the Google Play Store.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
