Android App Development Internship

Selected interns day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
2. Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
3. Bug fixing and improving application performance
4. Working with outside data sources and APIs
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
6. Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Skills: This is a challenging job where the person gets the best opportunity to groom his skills. Some of the key traits which are required for this position are:

1. Strong grasp of java and android framework
2. Knowledge of restful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
3. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
4. Good understanding of XML & JSON
5. Knowledge of with retrofit network library
6. Knowledge of firebase services (FCM, Analytics, Crashalytics)
7. Knowledge of Fragments, Recycler view, view pager and lifecycle of activity and fragment
