About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with the development team to design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
2. Assist in the development of new features and functionalities in existing Android applications.
3. Debug and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in the Android apps.
4. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
5. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the codebase.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our apps are current and competitive.
7. Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
8. Assist in testing and deployment processes to ensure the smooth release of new app versions.

Other requirements

1. Proven internship experience in Android development.

2. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

4. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

5. Understanding of mobile app design principles and UI/UX guidelines.

6. Knowledge of Android UI design patterns, and best practices.

7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
