About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assisting the design and merchandising team in creating innovative product designs and concepts
2. Researching current trends, customer preferences, and market demands to contribute to design development
3. Supporting in developing mood boards, fabric swatches, color palettes, and design sketches
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production and marketing, to ensure product alignment
5. Monitoring sample production, ensuring it aligns with the design specifications and timelines
6. Organizing and maintaining design archives and sample inventory
7. Preparing presentations and reports for internal reviews and client meetings
8. Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities to provide creative insights

Other requirements
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Merchandising, or a related field
2. Strong understanding of fashion trends, design principles, and merchandising strategies
3. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW)
4. Basic knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and production processes is a plus
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
6. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and creativity
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
