Apparel Merchandising Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and identify suppliers for fabrics, trims, and finished goods.
2. Coordinate with vendors to gather samples, quotations, and specifications.
3. Maintain relationships with suppliers and support in negotiations.
4. Inspect and manage samples for quality and alignment with design requirements.
5. Conduct market research to track trends and identify sourcing opportunities.
6. Help negotiate pricing and terms to meet budget constraints.
7. Prepare and maintain sourcing records, including purchase orders and contracts.
8. Ensure compliance documentation is updated for sustainability and ethical sourcing.
9. Collaborate with design and production teams to align sourcing with timelines.
10. Support quality control checks and follow up on corrective actions with suppliers.
11. Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
12. Assist with administrative tasks like organizing databases and scheduling meetings.
13. Emphasize sustainable and ethical sourcing practices in all activities.
