About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Architectural Design:
a. Developing creative and functional design concepts for residential, commercial, or institutional projects
b. Creating schematic designs, design development drawings, and presentation materials
c. Participating in design charettes and brainstorming sessions

2. Construction Drawings:
a. Producing detailed construction drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) for permit and construction purposes
b. Ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant building codes and standards
c. Coordinating with consultants (structural, MEP) for drawing integration

3. Updating Design and Drawing Sets:
a. Maintaining and updating existing design and drawing sets as needed
b. Incorporating revisions based on client feedback, site conditions, or regulatory requirements

Other requirements

1. Self-starter with strong initiative: Able to work independently and proactively identify tasks that need to be done

2. Technical proficiency: Possesses a personal laptop with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), SketchUp, and Lumion (or similar rendering software)

3. Detail-oriented: Pays meticulous attention to detail in drawings and design work

4. Excellent communication: Clearly conveys design ideas and collaborates effectively with team members
