Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with design drawings
2. Discuss project requirements with your team
3. Organize files and materials
4. Visit worksites to make sure everything goes as planned
5. Prepare contracts, reports, CAD drawings, and diagrams
6. Generate design development ideas
7. Research building codes and standards
8. Develop 3D conceptual designs
9. Prepare design mock-ups and color boards
10. Research the different types of building materials, lighting fixtures, and other products
