About the internship
Responsibilities:
1. Handle all audio-related tasks for podcast recordings, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting audio equipment during shoots.
2. Record, edit, and mix audio tracks to ensure clear, high-quality sound for our podcasts.
3. Create original music and soundscapes to enhance the mood and tone of our podcast content.
4. Collaborate with producers and hosts to develop audio concepts that align with and elevate the storytelling.
5. Manage post-production audio processes, including sound design, mixing, and mastering.
6. Stay updated with the latest audio technology and software, continually enhancing our audio production capabilities.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in audio production, particularly in podcasting, radio, or related fields.
2. Strong skills in audio editing and mixing, with proficiency in using industry-standard audio software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition).
3. Experience in creating and composing music, with a keen sense of how music can complement and enhance storytelling.
4. Excellent technical knowledge of audio recording equipment and techniques.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team, often under tight deadlines.
6. A degree in audio engineering, music production, or a related field is preferred.
