About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Participate in defect triages to gather evidence for defect identification on a periodic basis for defect prioritization and fixing.
2. Manage involvement with development team architects early in the project life cycle to identify the dependencies on architecture design coding standards deployment and environment deployment methodologies.
3. Provide automation/white box and other status to test lead/test manager.
4. Perform frequent monitoring & failure analysis.
5. Ensure CI setup is done for each round and job creation is done using CI tools.
6. Identify end-to-end critical business scenarios.

Other requirements

1. Strong hands-on test automation in mobile/Appium with Java.

2. Hands-on experience in functional, system, and regression testing.

3. Must have knowledge of quality assurance practices and test case writing skills.

4. Should have experience in requirement gathering from stakeholders.

5. Should be able to perform database testing and good in SQL queries, joins, and relational DB concepts.

6. Experience working using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

7. Ability to provide test estimation and scheduling for assignments.

8. Able to work directly with dev/product/project manager/internal QA teams and must have good written communication skills.

9. Experience in automation testing in the Appium framework.

10. Working knowledge of the build process (i.e. Jenkins) and source repository management.

11. Comprehensive understanding of the full development lifecycle and active involvement in all phases.
