About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate and understand project requirements and objectives.
2. Design and develop backend systems and APIs to support front-end applications.
3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
4. Implement database schemas and optimise database queries for performance and scalability.
5. Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to codebase.
6. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Other requirements

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Strong understanding of backend development concepts, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.

3. Familiar with AI technology and has created projects in the past on AI & ML.

4. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for problem-solving.

5. Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in backend development (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).

6. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

7. Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

9. Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
