Barista Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of TATA Starbucks
2. Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues
3. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
4. Develop enthusiastically satisfied customers all of the time
5. Welcome and connect with every customer
6. Discover customer needs and appropriately suggest a product to every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals
7. Respond to customer needs and say thank you to every customer
8. Demonstrate the "Just Say Yes" behavior by taking care of customer needs
9. Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer-comes-first attitude
10. Assist with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed
11. Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and products as needed
12. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
13. Provide quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
14. Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
15. Follow store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station
