Behavioural Therapist Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
2. Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
3. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
4. Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
5. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress.
6. Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
7. Maintain client confidentiality.
8. Assist Lead Behavioral technicians, Behavior Analysts, and Pediatric Neurologists in preparing client materials as instructed.
9. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
10. Collaborate with the treatment team, including client, parents, caregivers, and outside professionals.
11. Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.
