About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Acting as the central point of contact for assigned clients regarding IT services and support.
2. Building and maintaining positive, professional relationships with clients by providing timely updates on service requests, incidents, and project progress.
3. Understanding client requirements and expectations to align services effectively.
4. Receiving, prioritizing, and tracking client requests or issues, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate technical teams.
5. Monitoring the progress of service tickets and ensuring resolution within agreed timelines (e.g., as per SLAs).
6. Escalating critical issues to higher management or specialized teams when necessary.
7. Providing first-level support by addressing basic inquiries or troubleshooting issues when possible.
8. Facilitating communication during incident resolution, ensuring clients are informed at every stage.
9. Collaborating with teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
10. Generating and delivering regular service performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics (e.g., SLA compliance, issue resolution time).
11. Documenting interactions, incidents, and resolutions in the service management system.
12. Coordinating with developers, network engineers, and other IT staff to address client-specific requirements or technical challenges.
13. Ensuring alignment between service teams and client expectations to achieve optimal results.
