About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct basic research & collection of data
2. Visit farmers field & nodal institutions
3. Analysis
4. Presentation & report/project preparation
5. Develop a farmer support programme to build the capacity of farmers producer organization (FPO)
6. Delivery of standard training modules and coordinate with project manager
7. Meet different stakeholders to understand & study the constraints of FPOs and developing modules in order to overcome it
8. Train FPOs regarding their commodity trading on NCDEX platform
9. Take up value chain studies, micro business plans for rural enterprises
10. Promote/handhold rural enterprises either directly or through partner agencies staff with the objective of making them viable
11. Development of modules for training rural entrepreneurs towards fulfilling the aim of income generation including market linkages

5. have relevant skills and interests

1. We are looking for an MBA in agriculture candidates, preferably working with farming organizations like FPO, ICAR, etc., or other with SMEs in the sector

2. Bachelors of Science (Agriculture)

3. Masters of business administration (Rural management/diary management/agri-business)

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 10000 per installation).
