About the internship
Role Overview: As a Business Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Business Development and client relationship management. You will be exposed to the entire sales process and funnel management which will involve Market intelligence, competition analysis, sales planning, and forecasting, identifying prospects, pitching, negotiating and accordingly contributing towards the sales funnel by generating leads and revenues via deal closures within both B2B &B2C domains across various industries' viz media, hospitality, edtech, SaaS, healthcare, etc.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in identifying and targeting potential clients in the media sales (B2B), hospitality sales (B2B), and edtech sales (B2C) sectors.
2. Achieving sales targets and generating revenue across the assigned industries.
3. Help create targeted sales plans and contribute to client pitches and presentations.
4. Research market trends and identify prospective leads.
5. Maintain a database of leads and actively follow up to convert them into clients.
6. Track sales activities, leads, and progress towards targets.
7. Provide regular reports on revenue generation, sales performance, and opportunities.
Key Requirements: Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills:
1. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
2. Ability to research, identify leads, and meet sales targets.
