Business Development Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services
2. Identify new ways of reaching existing markets
3. Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
4. Generate leads and cold-call prospective customers
5. Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone
6. Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
7. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
8. Visualize the bigger picture and set aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
9. Work strategically and carry out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
