About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

a. Field Sales & Client Outreach:
1. Visit hotels, restaurants, retail shops, food stalls, and agencies to introduce and sell Royal and Co's products.
2. Build relationships with shopkeepers, managers, and distributors to secure long-term business deals.

b. Sales Execution & Closing Deals:
1. Present product samples and explain pricing, features, and benefits to potential buyers.
2. Handle customer objections and negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
3. Close deals and ensure order placement with retailers, hotels, and food vendors.

c. Market Research & Lead Generation:
1. Identify new sales opportunities by mapping potential customers in target areas.
2. Gather insights on competitor pricing, offers, and customer preferences.
3. Recommend improvements based on customer feedback.

d. Daily Reporting & Sales Tracking:
1. Maintain a log of daily visits, client interactions, and sales made.
2. Submit end-of-day reports with key updates on leads, conversions, and challenges faced.
3. Coordinate with the internal team for order fulfillment and deliveries.

e. Promotional Activities & Branding:
1. Ensure Royal and Co's branding is visible at retail points.
2. Distribute promotional materials (if applicable) to maximize brand awareness.
3. Suggest local marketing tactics to increase sales.

f. Follow-Ups & Customer Retention:
1. Regularly check in with clients to ensure repeat orders.
2. Address customer queries and maintain positive business relationships.
3. Upsell and cross-sell products where applicable.

Who can apply

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

5. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Students or recent graduates in Business, Marketing, Sales, or any relevant field.

2. Prior experience in field sales, retail sales, or customer-facing roles is a plus.

3. Candidates with FMCG, hospitality, or B2B/B2C sales experience will be given preference.

Additional information

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 400000 to 700000 /year

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (25% of 2,00,000).
