About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Generate leads by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, networking, and attending industry events.
2. Acquire clients by developing and maintaining relationships, understanding their business needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
3. Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business development goals and targets.
4. Oversee and manage a team of business development executives, setting clear goals, providing guidance, and ensuring they meet targets.
5. Mentor and develop the business development team, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and tools to succeed.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations that align with client needs.
7. Present agency services to prospective clients, showcasing our expertise in marketing and PR.
8. Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and exploring upsell opportunities.
9. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform business development efforts.
10. Work closely with the marketing, creative, and PR teams to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.
11. Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and business development metrics.

Qualification:

1. Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

2. Demonstrate proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within a marketing, advertising, or PR agency.

3. Possess a strong understanding of marketing, digital, and PR landscapes.

4. Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

5. Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.

6. Be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

7. Have experience in creating and executing business development strategies.

8. Be proficient in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
