About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, and field visits.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and enhance customer satisfaction.
3. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
4. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
5. Perform market research to discover new business opportunities and understand customer needs.
6. Provide feedback to management on market conditions, product performance, and customer feedback.
7. Follow up on leads in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system.
8. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Other requirements

1. Hold a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in business or marketing.

2. Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

3. Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

4. Work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

5. Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Personal attributes:

1. Commute for field visits as required.

2. Possess a motor vehicle license and drive a two-wheeler for field visits.

3. Display resilience and handle rejection and setbacks effectively.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (2% of revenue generated after meeting sales target.).
