Business Development (Sales) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
2. Visiting potential customers for new business
3. Making accurate rapid cost calculations
4. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
5. Gathering market and customer information
6. Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
7. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the management
8. Identifying potential customers, creating and closing new business opportunities in line with the strategic direction of the company
9. Building and maintaining strong client relationships by effectively handlings objections/cancellations thus ensuring a high level of customer service
