About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and identify potential business opportunities within assigned markets
2. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
3. Build strong, long-lasting relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
4. Conduct product presentations, demos, and consultations with prospective clients
5. Tailor sales pitches to meet each client's specific needs
6. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining company profitability
7. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position the company's products/services
8. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
9. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, tracking key metrics such as sales revenue, pipeline, and forecast accuracy
10. Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and delivery of services
11. Gather client feedback post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 1000 per sale).
