About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist clients in the completion of insurance applications
2. Ensure all paperwork is filled out and properly filed to put policies in place
3. Customize insurance policies to meet your client's needs
4. Ensure all policy requirements are fulfilled
5. Inspect properties to evaluate current conditions and decide on potential risk
5. Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients
6. Attend meetings, seminars, or programs given by insurance providers to explain new policy offerings
7. Perform regular continuing education hours to maintain your licensing, as well as learn about new products and services
8. Maintain bookkeeping, databases, and more
9. Calculate premiums and establish payment methods
10. Help process insurance claims
