Business Development (Sales) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in identifying new sales leads, pitching services, maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
2. Assisting in researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
3. Assisting in researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing, contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport, and set up meetings
4. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives and attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
5. Assisting in preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
6. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company s products
7. Developing quotes and proposals
8. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in-person
9. Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
10. Working on training personnel and helping team members in developing their skills
