About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Explore assigned districts to identify points of interest (POI) and potential partners for a travel platform
2. Collect information about the POI/ partners on a smartphone app
3. Identify right party contact of a potential partner/POI & schedule sales
4. Explain platform features and sell the platform to the partner
5. Report information to the team lead based in Bangalore
6. Achieve all set sales targets
7. Own sales & relationship management on assigned routes
8. Setup contracting, visual merchandising, etc at partner premises and POI premises
9. Work on ongoing partner relationship management including merchandising, issue resolution, enabling/disabling partner setup, cash collection, etc.
10. Come up with ideas and implementation techniques to create more sales

2. can start the internship between 20th Jan'20 and 19th Feb'20

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Mysuru, Ooty, Sringeri, Hornadu, Madikeri, Bangalore and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Willing to travel 200-250kms per day on a bike to explore offbeat destinations

2. Proven work experience (minimum 1 year) as a field sales executive/relationship management executive

3. Good communication skills with street-smartness and attitude for sales

4. Good interpersonal skills to manage partners

5. In-depth knowledge of local roads, routes, tourist destinations, etc.

6. Good PC skills, especially in MS Excel

7. Adept with the use of smartphones & smartphone apps, able to capture detailed data

8. Undergraduate/Graduate in any field

9. Must have a personal bike & dual-sim smartphone-Android 6.0 and above

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 2000 per sale).

1. The incentives will be given to the interns on a per-sale/per tie-up basis.
