About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Visiting factories and meeting safety and maintenance department officers
2. Presenting our product Kerodex
3. Selling and convincing the person in charge to purchase our products
4. Reporting to our head office via Zoom or in-person from time to time
5. Maintaining daily reports on Google sheets
6. Mapping travel to various locations in the given city to be as efficient as possible
7. Finding names of companies that are potential customers for our products
8. Reading literature that is provided by our company to learn about our products

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (10% of sales).

Patel Brothers is a partnership firm established in 1905. Primarily a cotton trading firm acting as agents, brokers also dealt in spot and futures markets. The partners were the first Indians to become members of the New York Cotton Exchange in 1910. Subsequently, with the increase in business, Patel Cotton was formed, which took over the entire cotton trading activities of the firm and grew to become one of the largest firms of its kind in the country.
