About the internship

We are looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Representative Intern (BDR) to join our high-energy sales team. As a BDR, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales pipeline, identifying and qualifying leads, and fueling our business growth. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals from IITs, NITs, and IIMs who have worked at leading companies such as Samsung, Nestaway, United Airlines, Paytm, and MakeMyTrip.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Prospecting & Outreach: Leverage a variety of prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, to engage potential customers and qualify leads.
2. Lead Management: Swiftly follow up on marketing-generated leads and respond to inbound inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication.
3. Value Proposition: Master the art of articulating our product's value proposition, effectively conveying the benefits of our offerings to potential customers.
4. Discovery Calls: Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations, gathering critical information to assess customer needs and align them with our solutions.
5. Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the sales team to nurture leads, ensuring a smooth transition of qualified opportunities through the sales funnel.
6. CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
7. Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for generating qualified opportunities, contributing to the team's overall success.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
2. Experience in sales or business development, preferably within the software/technology sector.
3. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Fresh Sales, HubSpot) and sales productivity tools.
4. A basic understanding of sales techniques and methodologies.
5. Experience with prospecting tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Lusha.

Other requirements

1. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2. Graduation year: 2022 or later.

3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building rapport with prospects.

4. Strong telephone etiquette and active listening skills.

5. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

6. A results-driven mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.

7. Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced startup environment.
