About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identify and research potential clients, industries, and markets for business opportunities
2. Build a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and referrals
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and lead information in the CRM system
4. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets
5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs
6. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service to close deals effectively
7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
8. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly
9. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
10. Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies and deliver seamless client experiences
11. Provide feedback from clients to improve products, services, and overall business processes
12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities
13. Identify emerging opportunities and recommend new strategies to expand market reach
14. Track sales metrics, monitor progress, and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs)
15. Use data insights to adjust strategies and improve overall sales performance

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field (preferred)

2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role

3. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets

4. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

5. Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities

6. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions

7. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite

8. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
