About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential market opportunities, industry trends, and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies
2. Lead Generation: Assist in generating leads through various channels, including online research, industry databases, and networking events
3. Prospect Analysis: Analyze prospective clients and partners to assess their fit with the company's offerings, conducting background research and preparing profiles for review
4. Proposal Preparation: Support the development of proposals, presentations, and pitch materials tailored to the needs of prospective clients and partners
5. Relationship Building: Assist in nurturing relationships with existing clients and partners, as well as establishing new connections through networking events, conferences, and industry associations
6. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide support throughout the sales process, including lead follow-up, scheduling meetings, and updating CRM systems
7. Account Management: Assist in managing relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner
8. Market Expansion: Contribute to strategies for expanding the company's presence in existing markets and exploring opportunities for entry into new markets
9. Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to derive insights and inform decision-making
10. Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance understanding of sales techniques, relationship management, and industry dynamics

Other requirements

Currently enrolled in a degree program related to business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field

Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct research effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and partners

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Prior internship or work experience in sales, business development, or related fields is preferred but not required.

• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges.

Duration and Compensation:

• This is a 3 months internship position.

• This is a paid internship position with compensation commensurate with experience.
