About the Program
Flashlights Fellowship Program is an innovative online volunteering initiative designed to make volunteering accessible to all. We believe in the power of collective action and aim to sensitize youth towards community development. By participating in this program, you have the opportunity to contribute and be a part of the impactful change we strive for at Project Flashlights.
The Flashlights Fellowship Program (FFP) spans 12 weeks, during which you will be assigned simple tasks to support the vision of Project Flashlights. Each week, you will undertake one task, collectively working towards making a positive difference.
The campus ambassador's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Promote the Fellowship: Share information about the Flashlights Fellowship Program on social media, in campus groups, and during events.
2. Organize Information Sessions: Set up or participate in meetings to introduce students to the fellowship.
3. Encourage Sign-ups: Motivate students to join the program and participate in the tasks.
4. Get guidance and mentorship from experienced Gandhi Fellows and Teach For India (TFI) Fellows to enhance your leadership skills and effectiveness.
Learning opportunities
1. Guidance from Experts: Ambassadors will receive mentorship from experienced Gandhi Fellows and Teach For India (TFI) Fellows, helping them develop leadership and project management skills.
2. Skill Development: Gain practical experience in areas like communication, event organization, social media marketing, and community engagement.
3. Networking: Connect with a network of like-minded peers, professionals, and mentors who are passionate about social impact.
4. Personal Growth: Enhance your understanding of community development and nation-building while contributing to meaningful change.
5. Certificate & Recognition: Upon successful completion, receive a certificate of recognition that can boost your resume and career prospects.
