The Campus Ambassador program is a chance to grow your network and develop your skills while doing something good for society. After getting selected, CAs will be groomed for the first month through learning sessions and will be guided all the way along.
The Campus Ambassador s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. To conduct, plan, manage and execute events at your campus with the assistance of the GYWS team members
2. Being the face of GYWS by reaching out to other stakeholders like Professors, other college students, college clubs, volunteers, local mentors to support our cause in providing a platform for socially motivated youth of the country
3. Assisting the LiGHT team in conducting a Bring LiGHT To Campus Campaign at your college and be the founder of the LiGHT-GYWS center at your college.
4. Creating awareness by running various publicity campaigns for GYWS at your campus by using a variety of channels, ranging from social media handles, print media, word-of-mouth publicity, etc, with the help of strategies provided by GYWS media representatives.
5. If GYWS reaches out to your colleges for any online or offline promotional workshops, you are expected to assist us in our endeavor
6. To manage and conduct a nationwide event along with team LiGHT
1. A one-month long workshop is designed which will help you in developing important skills such as event management, people management, organizational skills, communication, and problem-solving skills by our expert alumni and team members
2. A one to one mentorship program is designed in which a mentor from our GYWS team will be allotted to you, who will assist you with every problem you face during your tenure as a campus ambassador.
3. Learning sessions are to be conducted where knowledge of various fields will be given by experts which will help you in shaping your career
4. If successful conduction of the “Bring LiGHT To Campus” campaign takes place, you will be having an opportunity to lead the foundation of a LiGHT center similar to GYWS at your college which will help you instill the qualities of a social entrepreneur
5. You will get an opportunity to learn online & media marketing through online learning sessions and workshops
- You will get an exposure to work with the experienced team of IIT Kharagpur
- Workshops based on youth ambassador interest training will be provided by the experts in different domains of Sustainable Development Goals.
Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. can start the part time job/internship between 6th Oct'20 and 10th Nov'20
2. are available for duration of 6 months
3. have relevant skills and interests
Added requirements
1. Should be currently enrolled in a college in any discipline in any state of the country
2. Should be motivated towards bringing positive change in the society
3. Should have social media accounts and their knowledge is an added advantage
4. Have good communication skills and command of the local and English Language
5. Knowledge of digital marketing is a plus

2. Selection of the candidate is primarily based on his motivation for social work, his previous experience with other organization, and his communication skills
